This triology which represents the birth, growth, rise and death of the Ego are brilliant displayed in 3 movies.

Bruce Wayne his alter Ego is Batman, but the more Bruce loses himself in his Ego, the more trouble will arise. Especially in the second movie, The Joker is his Ego, he does not fight justice, he fights his Ego.

In the third movie, his Ego becomes bigger than he is, he loses himself (the real Bruce), he is broken and condemned to the dark Pit.
